Can one re-dye or darken Black Galaxy granite?

Q. Can one re-dye or darken Black Galaxy granite? Acetone did not remove any black coloring only a grey slurry during the honing process.

A.  For additional help, contact your stone and tile restoration contractor. A sealer will need to be applied after the dye has cured. However, dyeing and sealing granite can be tricky, and if it is not done properly, you may end up with unsatisfactory results. We highly recommend that you entrust this task to a qualified stone and tile restoration contractor. To find a Certified SurpHaces PRO Partner in your area, contact us
